Solar Decathlon 1th Place

That's My LED and ILM Lighting won the first prize in the contest of the Lighting Design at the Solar Decathlon 2014.

The SOLAR DECATHLON is a global competition on ecosustainability, where the best universities around the world compete to realize a "house of the future", a green house, low environmental impact, recyclable, that generates energy from itself and which respects the environment.

For this edition the team of Rome three asked to ILM to take care of the lighting of the house, internal and external. Were thus made ex novo lighting appliances.

Among the ten tests of the competition, a is focused on architectural quality, which in turn provides a specific contest on lighting design, where a specialist jury is responsible for judging the quality of the lighting and the design of the lamps.

Precisely in this competition, ILM-That's My LED has won the first prize for the quality of the lighting and the design of lighting apparatuses, as well as for the high degree of modularity and flexibility that these appliances may have during installation.
